
Beth is the visionary Founder of Wellbeing4Learning, dedicated to empowering educators to co-create resilient, wellbeing-centered organizations.
Prior to establishing Wellbeing4Learning, Beth served as Specialist for State Projects at the SERVE Center, which housed the Region 6 Comprehensive Center, where she championed alternative education, educator well-being, and the development of collaborative communities, including the National Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Community of Practice and the North Carolina Career Accelerator Programs Community of Practice. Her leadership is grounded in a commitment to active listening and co-creating inclusive spaces where every voice is heard and valued.
Beth’s expertise was further honed at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI), where she led statewide social and emotional learning initiatives. She launched the North Carolina Social and Emotional Learning Implementation Team and co-led the North Carolina Social and Emotional Learning and Educational Equity Project. She served on the North Carolina Multi-Tiered System of Support (NC MTSS) Team for nearly a decade, where she created the Technical Assistance and Coaching Infrastructure. Beth’s professional focus encompasses leadership development, school mental health, secondary MTSS implementation, and building capacity through engaging professional development and coaching. She brings advanced facilitation and coaching skills from Adaptive Schools and Cognitive Coaching frameworks.
Beth earned her doctorate in Leading and Learning in Organizations (LLO) from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College and is a co-founder of SEL4NC, reflecting her ongoing commitment to social and emotional learning across North Carolina. She is a trained School Psychologist, graduating from Appalachian State University, and an Exceptional Children’s Teacher, graduating from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Her work is guided by a belief in the power of connection, collaboration, and continuous learning to create thriving educational communities.
