Group Coaching/Community of Practice
PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT
Last Updated on: August 21, 2025
This Group Coaching/Community of Practice Participant Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between coaches (Wellbeing4Learning & Restorative Well) and the Participant.
Program Title: Trust2Thrive Community of Practice
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: 1/month; September 2025 - August 2026.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Agreement is to create a clear understanding between the Coaches and Participant regarding expectations, responsibilities, and terms of participation in the group coaching/community of practice.
2. Scope of Coaching
Group coaching is a supportive, collaborative space designed to help participants gain insight, set goals, and take action. The group coaching process is not therapy, counseling, or a substitute for mental health treatment. If at any point the Participant experiences emotional distress or mental health challenges that are beyond the scope of coaching, they are encouraged to seek help from a licensed mental health professional.
The Coach facilitates group learning, reflection, and skill-building but does not promise specific outcomes. The coaching process includes those individuals who receive the coaching and take the knowledge back to their space.
The Group Coaching/Community of Practice package includes for each registered participant:
-
1 hour, monthly virtual Community of Practice (CoP) with Badge
-
Participant Guide/CoP Session
-
Members Only Trust2Thrive Facebook Group
-
CoP Member Network Contact Information
-
Individual Think Tank Coaching (up to 3-5 Sessions, 30 minutes each for the year)
3. Participant Expectations
Participants agree to the following:
-
Be responsible: Agree to not share the session zoom links with anyone who has not paid for the sessions. Duplicate access or unauthorized sharing of links may result in termination of participation without refund.
-
Be present: Attend all paid scheduled sessions, show up on time, and engage fully without distractions. In the event that the participant has technology challenges, it is the responsibility of the participant to email the Coaches (info@wellbeing4learning.org), and the Coaches will email a recording of the Topic Introduction portion. (See group privacy section below.) The Topic Introduction recordings belong to the Coaches and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed by participants.
-
Contribute respectfully: Share openly when comfortable, listen without interrupting, and respect differing views.
-
Honor group privacy: While confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in a group setting, participants agree to hold in confidence the personal stories, comments, and experiences of others. Participants also acknowledge that recordings of the Topic Introduction are provided solely for personal use and may not be copied, shared, or distributed in any form. Any breach of this policy may result in removal from the group without refund.
-
Take ownership: Be responsible for your own progress, follow through on commitments, and bring questions or concerns to the Coaches directly. Participants come to coaching sessions, not as an empty canvas, but as wise individuals with unique experiences, who have evaluated their current situations and as clearly as possible are able to state the areas of concern.
-
Maintain a growth mindset: Participate with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to learn and be challenged. As participants engage in a coaching session, they consider how the concepts introduced can address their areas of concern, including how both self awareness and the process of self reflection bring illumination to the current concern.
4. Termination Clause
The Coach reserves the right to remove any participant who violates group agreements, engages in harmful or disrespectful behavior, or shares program materials without authorization. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
5. Payment and Refund Policy
-
Payment is due at the time of registration. Due to the online nature of group coaching/community of practice, all sales are final.
6. Informed Consent and Waiver of Liability
I acknowledge that participation in these activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical or psychological harm, or any other adverse effects. I understand that additional unforeseen or unknown risks may also exist. I accept full responsibility for these risks and understand that the coach is not liable for any harm that may result. Accordingly, I fully release and discharge the coaches, along with its employees, officers, and agents, from any and all liability related to my participation in these activities.
Results cannot be guaranteed.
The Participant acknowledges that use of online platforms carries risks, and the Coaches are not responsible for interruptions, data breaches, or technical failures.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of North Carolina.
8. Acknowledgement and Agreement
By purchasing sessions with Wellbeing4Learning, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to all of the terms and conditions outlined above. I understand the nature and scope of group coaching/community of practice, including that it is not a substitute for therapy or medical care. I acknowledge what is expected of me as a participant and agree to engage in the program in a respectful, responsible, and honest manner.
